The first-ever Garden City Taste Fest that will take place on May 19, 2015, from 6:00 to 10:00 pm has been sold out. No more registrations are being accepted. Hosted by the Garden City DDA and the Garden City Business Alliance, the event will provide an opportunity to sample the food at some of the best places to eat in our community.
Guests will meet at Merriman Road Baptist Church where they will be given their t-shirts, starting restaurant, and itinerary. The shirts act as the “ticket” for the event.
Buses transport guests to the participating restaurants and drop off/pick up guests throughout the evening. Guests can drive separately, if preferred.
At each restaurant, guests will sample food, enjoy entertainment (if available), and purchase drinks if they wish. The bus will be waiting to transport them to the next restaurant on the itinerary, and will drive them back to the church to retrieve their vehicles.
Tickets to the Taste Fest are $20 per person.
We hope to make this an annual event and to grow it larger each year.
