Realizing the need for an organization that would allow Garden City businesses to better support each other, Kerry Partin, from Garden City Community Chat, and Kelly Perkins, owner of Guardian Martial Arts, came up with the idea for the Garden City Business Alliance. They invited local businesses to attend a kick off meeting.
Since then, the group has grown. Regular monthly meetings have been held, a Facebook group has been set up, and the GCBA website has been launched. The group is now setting up a formal structure.

Small businesses working together can help each of us be better merchants, offer more to our customers, and be a good neighbor to our community. This is the inspiration for the brand new Garden City Business Alliance.
